Given that I’ve worked with them for so long, I started wondering to myself…
“How are they so successful?”
Like, if I could copy their blueprint and build millions of followers while making tons of money—what would I do?
And I think I’ve figured it out.
So if you want a huge social media following and a successful business, follow these steps.
#1: Stick to one niche for a long time
I’ve had this horrible problem in the past…
I’d always change niches and business models.
I’ve tried content businesses, an agency, coaching, etc.
I guess I get bored when I don’t see results fast enough, so I switch.
But that’s the problem… I keep switching.
And because I keep switching, I never make deep progress in one thing.
But that’s not the case with Wonsulting.
They’ve stuck to their niche of career coaching for years.
They didn’t shift. They stayed focused on the same thing.
Over and over again, for years.
Because of that, they’ve become the big players in their space.
#2: Don’t let analytics discourage you
Have you ever posted something, it didn’t do well, and then you gave up?
Honestly, I’m the same.
I’ll post something on LinkedIn or YouTube, it doesn’t do well, and then I stop posting.
I constantly have to remind myself not to get discouraged by the analytics dashboard.
But that’s what Jon and Jerry are really good at.
If they ever have a low period with their social media content (which is the main driver of traffic and leads for their business), they don’t take it personally.
They know it’s just part of the social media game.
They keep going, over and over again—no matter how much a post might tank.
#3: Create a no brainer offer for a starving market
If there’s one big lesson I’ve learned working with them, it’s this:
Have customers who are starving for a solution…
…provide that solution
…and package it in a way that makes it almost dumb to say no.
For example, the job market right now is really tough.
It’s extremely hard for anyone who’s job searching to land a role.
When I speak with leads on calls, they often tell me they’ve been struggling for months, sometimes even years, to land a job. They’re desperate.
In other words, it’s a starving market.
And the solution we provide, career coaching, directly solves that problem.
But here’s the key: we don’t just offer coaching. We package it in a way that feels like a no-brainer.
“Land a job offer in 120 days or get your money back.”
In other words, a guaranteed job.
Now imagine you’re a desperate job seeker who really needs work.
It would feel almost crazy to say no to that, especially since it’s guaranteed.
Our old offer was: “We’ll help you land a job.”
Our new offer is: “We’ll help you land an offer in 120 days, and if you don’t, we’ll refund your money.”
Just by making the offer a no-brainer, the business has boomed.
Now of course, they also have other things that factor into their success:
Extremely smart co-founders
Passion for the problem they’re solving
Ability to work well with others
Strong work ethic and discipline
And so on…
But when I ask myself:
If I want a huge following and a business like theirs, what should I do?
These are what comes to mind.
