I flew to New York last week for a company offsite, and came back feeling incredibly proud.
It was packed with brainstorms, bonding, and a ridiculous amount of good food.
But one moment stood out for me.
I got to lead a workshop on something that’s quietly shaped my entire career:
How we communicate.
More specifically:
How each of us has a unique communication style, and how understanding that style can make us better teammates, collaborators, and humans.
(this is me leading the workshop):

Here’s the TL;DR of what I shared:
We all fall into four communication “colors” based on how we show up.

Want to figure out your color?
Ask yourself these three questions:
Am I more introverted or extroverted?
Introverted = 🔵 Blue / 🟢 Green
Extroverted = 🔴 Red / 🟡 Yellow
Am I more logical or emotional?
Logical = 🔵 Blue / 🔴 Red
Emotional = 🟢 Green / 🟡 Yellow
Do I speak more deliberately or quickly?
Deliberate = 🔵 Blue / 🟢 Green
Quick = 🔴 Red / 🟡 Yellow
Whichever color shows up the most across your answers?
That’s likely your dominant style.
The magic happens when you use this same lens to understand others.
Think of a teammate, what color might they be?
It instantly changes how you approach them.
More empathy and less friction.
This workshop reminded me how powerful self-awareness is.
