There was a study where two groups of photographers were tested:
• Group 1 focused on taking the perfect photo
• Group 2 focused on taking as many photos as possible
The goal was to see which group ended up with more good photos.
In the end, Group 2 came out on top.
Why?
Because Group 1 spent all their time overthinking the perfect shot.
Group 2 just kept shooting and learned through practice.
The same thing applies to creating content.
If you spend all your time trying to perfect every social media post but barely post, it doesn’t work.
It’s like trying to win a basketball game by only taking the perfect shot.
You end up not shooting at all, while the other team keeps scoring just by playing.
Instead of chasing algorithm hacks or optimizing every post…
Focus on being consistent.
That alone is hard.
Once you’ve built consistency, then start optimizing.
After hearing this perspective, it really hit me.
I kept trying to make every video and post as optimized as possible.
I went down deep rabbit holes of algorithms and growth tactics.
But I was missing the most important part:
Posting consistently.
Consistency first. Optimization second.
